Donald Edward Blumberg, 60, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born Dec. 10, 1953, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Dolle Blumberg. He was the husband of Pamela S. Adams Blumberg, his wife of 39 years.
He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and collecting matchbox cars. He loved his grandchildren who referred to him as G-Dad.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Amie M. Blumberg, of Hanover, Pennsylvania; sons Christopher C. Blumberg and wife Jaime, of Reisterstown, and Adam N. Blumberg and wife Amanda, of New Oxford, Pennsylvania; a sister, Nancy Payne, of Westminster; grandsons Kameran Johnson, Landen Blumberg, Jonas Blumberg and Alexander Blumberg; and a granddaughter, Madilynn Blumberg.
He was predeceased by brothers William and Albert Blumberg.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to time of service, 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, with the Rev. Dan Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
