Outlook: Strine led the Eagles in scoring last year with five goals and six assists. ... Redhi returns to anchor a solid Eagles' defense. ... Outlook: The Lions won the county going undefeated before falling to South Carroll in the Class 2A West final. ... Lipsky, last season's Times' Player of the Year, led the county with 27 points but has since graduated. ... Liberty will have to replace 15 departed seniors, but Greensfelder said he is confident the new players will be able to adapt and keep the winning tradition going.
Coach: Will D'Addario, 1st year

First game: Friday, Sept. 6 Tournament at Catonsville, 5 p.m.
Key losses: Zac Egolf, Brendan Krivak, Scott Meredith, Drew Rose
Key returners: Ryan Day, senior midfield; Isiah Dorsey, junior striker; Kyle Johnston, senior goalie; Hayden Oursler, senior midfield.
Outlook: The Mavericks will be looking for offense after the graduations of Rose and Krivak who were second and fourth respectively in the county in scoring a season ago. ... Eight seniors have graduated from last year leaving a young bunch for first-year coach D'Addario. ... "This is a very inexperienced defense," D'Addario said vial email, "but I am very excited for the challenge and being named the new head coach."

Outlook: The Panthers won the Class 1A West region before falling to Washington 5-1 in the state semifinal. ... The Panthers will have to find a way to score goals after leading scorer England (16 points) has graduated. ... "We have a lot of strong returners and [a] handful of newcomers that will have an immediate impact," Harrell said via email. "We're looking to be more competitive in the county and make a run deep into the state playoffs."

Outlook: Lost to eventual state champion Marriotts Ridge 1-0 in the 2A state semifinal a season ago. ... The Cavaliers will need to replace five starters from last year's squad. ... Outlook: The Owls will need to find some offense to replace Drenner who was fifth in the county in scoring last season with 21 points. ... With only six returning players, McCullin said this will be his youngest varsity team at Westminster. ... "With a very tough stretch to open the season (Howard, Urbana, Liberty) in the first two weeks, we will find out a lot about this team in a hurry," McCullin said via email.
Coach: Andy Hicks, 2nd year
