Synopsis: Founding member Mark Wenner won't be able to perform for health reasons, but the rock concert will still go on in what will be a 40th anniversary celebration concert

Masterworks Chorale of Carroll County presents 'Music from Maryland and Beyond'

Synopsis: Masterworks' annual spring show features works by local and regional composers, including Artistic Director Margaret Boudreaux and member Justine Koontz. Masterworks will be performing many of these works at the World Choir Games in Cincinnati, Ohio, this summer.

Where: Big Baker Chapel, McDaniel College, 2 College Hill Westminster

Admission: General admission is $12 at the door, $10 in advance. Free admission for children and students with ID.

DC 101 Chili Cookoff

Synopsis: The 33rd annual cookoff features Cake, Incubus and several other rock acts in the annual event that benefits the National Kidney Foundation. Oh, and don't forget about the chili.
