Harry H. Kellner, 89, formerly of Hampstead


Harry Herman Kellner, 89, of White Marsh, formerly of Hampstead, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

Born April 3, 1923, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Harry C. and Alice A. Milhausen Kellner.

He had worked as a security guard at the American Visionary Arts Museum on Key Highway in Baltimore. He lived in Hampstead for many years before he moved to White Marsh.

He was a member of the Westminster Lions Club, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, and had served in the Army.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Harry A. Kellner Jr. and wife Barbara, of Seattle, Wash., and Robert A. Kellner and wife Bonny, of Hampstead; a brother, George Kellner, of White Marsh; grandchildren Jackie Kellner, Brian Kellner, Jennifer Golubeff, Dustin Kellner and Christopher Kellner; and great-grandchildren Tyler Snyder, Jacob Golubeff, Jenna Golubeff, Justice Golubeff, and Harrison Kellner.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until the time of memorial service, 5 p.m. Sunday at the American Visionary Arts Museum, 800 Key Highway, Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the First Church of Christ Scientist, 1 Maryland Ave., Towson, MD 21286.
