Mabel E. Barnhart Harrison, 88, of Baltimore, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Nov. 13, 1923, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elwood Barnhart and Hester Hornbaker Barnhart. She was the wife of the late Sterling E. Harrison.
She was a receptionist for Circular Advertising.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Kevin and Kathy Harrison, of Glen Burnie, and Michael and Cheryl Harrison, of Mount Airy; brothers Kenneth Barnhart, of Mount Airy, and Ronald Barnhart, of Pasadena; sisters Isabelle Payne, of Eldersburg, and Lolita Renehan, of Taneytown; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by brothers Jobie and Glen Barnhart; and a sister, Violet Homens.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Airy.
