Bisciotti: Ray Rice will definitely be a Raven in 2014

ORLANDO, Fla. - Ray Rice will be back with the Baltimore Ravens this season regardless how the legal process plays out.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti made that clear during an interview with the Times Monday at the annual NFL owners meetings.

Bisciotti was asked if there is any chance at all that Rice won't be back with Baltimore this season. He responded quickly and emphatically.

"No."

Rice was arrested in February and charged with simple assault-domestic domestic violence after an altercation with his fiancée at an Atlantic City casino.

"Ray has built up too much good will in our locker room, on the football field, in the building and in the community, so we're going to let him deal with this," Bisciotti said. "This is devastating to Ray and his fiancée. It's embarrassing. It's humiliating.

"But what I've seen from Ray the last six years, he's going to become a better man because of it. ... We'll monitor it and we'll support Ray, and we'll take advantage of Ray and his dedication to winning back people that may be put off by what happened."
