Westminster library branch

The Westminster branch of the Carroll County Public Library, 50 E. Main St., Westminster, will offer the following programs this week. Registration is required only where noted. For more information, call 410-386-4488.

Tuesday

Story Pals - Night: 10 a.m. For ages 2-3. A theme-based story time featuring interactive and age-appropriate stories, songs, fingerplays, and activities. With an accompanying adult caregiver.

Read and Play - 11 a.m. For ages Birth-24 Months. A story time featuring lap games, tickles, bounces, and rhymes followed by a playgroup for meeting and mingling. With an accompanying adult caregiver.

Make Like a Ninja and Read: 2 p.m. For ages 5-12. Register for this event today. Come and join us while we let our inner Ninjas out to celebrate National Day of the Ninja. Enjoy Ninja games and other themed activities while dressed as a Ninja or just come as you are. Please only register child attendees.

Evening Story Time - Night: 7 p.m. For All Ages. End your day in a special way. This story time, open to all ages, introduces stories through books, songs, and activities. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Getting Started with Your Genealogy: 2 p.m. For Adults. Register for this event today. If you have thought about searching for your ancestors but did not know to start, this presentaion will kick-off your research with five easy steps.

Got Any Sense?: 2 p.m. For All Ages. We have five senses. Animals do too. Meet some of our critter friends and find out how they use their fives senses. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
