Meeting to plan Farm Museum's wormseed oil exhibit set for March 27

The Carroll County Farm Museum will hold a meeting March 27 to discuss the history of the wormseed oil industry and to begin planning for a future exhibit on the subject.

The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. in the Grier Room of the Farm Museum, located at 500 S. Center St. in Westminster, according to a prepared release from Carroll County government.

The Farm Museum recently received two large vats used in the processing of wormseed oil and is planning to create an exhibit highlighting Carroll's role in the wormseed oil industry. Farm Museum personnel are asking for anyone that was part of growing wormseed or distilling the oil to attend the meeting and provide insight on the topics.
