Allison Hogarty, daughter of John and Debi Hogarty, of Westminster, and Joshua Thomas, son of the Rev. William and Linda Thomas, of Westminster, were married at Howard County Conservancy in Woodstock Oct. 19, 2013.

The Rev. William Thomas, father of the groom, performed the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Martin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melanie and Adrienne Martin, nieces of the bride; Lauren Zaragoza, cousin of the bride; Christina Marlow; and Joy and Julie Thomas, sisters of the groom. The flower girl was Maia Thomas, sister of the groom.

Best man was Jordan Thomas, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were B.J., Jacob and Jeremiah Thomas, brothers of the groom; and Danny Martin, brother-in-law of the bride.

The reception was held at the conservancy.

After a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, the newlyweds are residing in Gettysburg, Pa.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Winters Mill High School and a 2010 graduate of McDaniel College. She is a senior employment specialist with Mosaic Community Services in Westminster.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Westminster High School and a 2011 graduate of McDaniel College. He is an environmental specialist with Leidos Biomedical Research in Frederick.
