The Least of These Ministries, founded in 1999, is a non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting Haitian harvesters who live in work camps in the Dominican Republic. These work camps are known as bateys and offer little more than basic protection from the elements. The Least of These Ministries is dedicated to ministering to the people in the bateys, and providing one meal per week of rice and beans. They currently feed 9,000 people on a weekly basis.
