Severe thunderstorm watch issued for region

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. today for all of Carroll County.
Wind gusts of up to 70 mph and hail are possible as storms push through the region tonight.
Thunderstorms have developed in the West Virginia panhandle and are moving east at 30 mph.
This is the second consecutive night the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch.
Wind damage was reported in Westminster after storms pushed through the region Tuesday night. The National Weather Service indicated the Tuesday night damage was caused by straight line winds and not a tornado.
