'Project Lightbulb' comes to Reisterstown

Project Lightbulb is a free home energy upgrade service operated through Civic Works, a Baltimore-based nonprofit. The organization is providing 30 homes in Reisterstown with free supplies and information on increasing home energy efficiency before July 31. In each home, trained AmeriCorps members will install:

Up to 15 energy efficient light bulbs

Water heater insulation

Insulation on up to six feet of piping

An energy-efficient showerhead

One bathroom- and one kitchen-faucet aerator.
