Ravens teammate on WR Doss: 'Dude could catch a BB in the dark with his eyes closed'

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones had to deliberate for a few long moments before deciding on an answer.

Is there an offensive player on the Ravens currently under the radar that he envisions having a progressively expanding role during the course of the season?

"Everybody's been balling, so it's hard to say," Jones explained, "but I'll say [wide receiver] Tandon [Doss].

What's he like about Doss?

"His hands, man," Jones said. "Dude could catch a BB in the dark with his eyes closed."

Doss was the Ravens' fourth-round pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

He saw very limited playing time as a rookie, but has seen some action as a reserve through Baltimore's first two games of this season.

He recorded his first career catch in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It went for a 6-yard gain.

Doss has worked primarily behind starter Anquan Boldin.

Like Boldin, the 6-foot-2, 207-pound Doss doesn't have elite top-end speed, but he's praised for being a savvy route runner with good size and sure hands.
