Baltimore County police in the Franklin precinct recently recorded the following reported incidents, among others, in the Owings Mills and greater Reisterstown communities. Anyone with information regarding these incidents may call the Franklin precinct at 410-887-6975.
Police said a person was in the 200 block of Erin Way in Reisterstown when they were approached by two people Dec. 23.
They removed a handgun and demanded money. After being told they had no money, they searched the person's pockets and took their cell phone.
Dec. 26, police responded to a vacant home fire in the unit block of Bon Oak Court.
Two people were seen running from the property carrying a red gas can.
Someone pried open a side hallway door to the Owings Mills Mall in the 10300 block of Mill Run Circle in Owings Mills Dec. 27, police said.
The door was pried during normal business hours. Security was unable to provide additional information.
Police said someone left their vehicle running in the parking lot at 100 Willow Bend Drive in Owings Mills.
When they returned to their vehicle, they discovered it was missing. The doors were unlocked and the key was in the ignition.
Dec. 26, police said a person with a hooded sweatshirt cut the screen window of a home in the 10000 block of Coriolis Way in Owings Mills.
They stole a briefcase, computer, four credit cards and two pieces of electronic equipment. They were seen getting into a silver four-door car with two other people. They were all wearing dark clothes.
Police said someone returned to their home in the 300 block of Butler Road in Reisterstown, Dec. 25 to find a stone thrown through the rear window and the rear door sitting wide open.
The house was gone through and jewelry was missing.
Dec. 25, someone smashed out a rear window of a home in the 100 block of Neel Ave. in Glyndon, police said.
They stole a camera, jewelry and sunglasses.
Attempt to Enter Home
Police said someone returned home to the 200 block of Glyndon Meadow Road in Reisterstown after a call from their alarm company Dec. 25.
Someone used items from a patio to break the glass of a rear window. They attempted to climb up, unlock and open the window. Attempts were unsuccessful and no entry was gained.
Police said someone entered a home in the 9400 block of Planetree Circle in Owings Mills, by cutting the screen to a rear window and opening an unlocked window, Dec. 23.
They stole a purse. They left through the front door.
Copper Pipes Cut
Between Dec. 1-22, someone entered a house in the unit block of Kenmar Ave. in Owings Mills, police said.
They cut all the exposed copper pipes and left the location as water poured throughout the house.
