What are the three main issues you wish to address during your campaign and how do you plan to address them?
1) My main objective in running for re-election to the Hampstead Town Council is to keep the Hampstead Farmers Market growing. The market drew over 7000 people to Main Street last summer, and I want it to get bigger and better!
2) Economic development is essential to a healthy community and business climate. Municipal government should try to assist small business owners who want to locate in Hampstead by offering tax incentives and making sure zoning is fair and consistent.
3) Main Street Revitalization is the major project looming ahead for the town, its businesses and its residents. The Council needs to work closely with the town manager and SHA [State Highway Administration] to ensure that improvements and changes are in the best interests of all, and that the inevitable disruption be kept to a manageable level.

What are the three main issues you wish to address during your campaign and how do you plan to address them?
1) Joe Renehan and I are focused on fostering a business-friendly atmosphere in Hampstead and keeping taxes low through smart fiscal management. We will take a fiscally conservative approach to governance, and we will always remember that every dollar the town spends comes from a hard-working citizen's pocket.
2) Joe Renehan and I are focused on taking an active role in the Main Street Revitalization Project. Similar projects have brought tremendous benefits to other towns, and we're really excited about the possibilities for Hampstead. We need to make sure that we minimize the pain and maximize the gain.
3) Joe Renehan and I are focused on maintaining public safety as priority No. 1. The safety of the residents is a critical part of the small-town atmosphere we all enjoy here in Hampstead and we will not take it for granted.

What are the three main issues you wish to address during your campaign and how do you plan to address them?
1) As Chairman of Hampstead Planning and Zoning I have been involved in the early planning discussions of the Main Street Revitalization and as a town councilman I pledge to stay very involved to make sure that the revitalization is done with the respect to the residents of Main Street.
2) To attract, support and sustain business in Hampstead, begins and ends with keeping taxes low. Great municipal services are given in our town and need to kept up. Coupled with the Main Street Revitalization, and the marketing thereof, the attraction, support and sustaining of business in Hampstead has a very bright future.
3) Attraction of new business to Hampstead is first and foremost, one vacant storefront is one too many, and we as Hampstead residents make up for that lost tax revenue. Also, strong fiscal management, as a councilman I would be lacking if I was not an active participant in financial oversight.

What are the three main issues you wish to address during your campaign and how do you plan to address them?
1) Public Safety: Over the past 20 years I have worked to make sure the Hampstead Police Department has the personnel and resources to keep Hampstead safe. I have supported salary adjustments and benefits to keep our award-winning officers in Hampstead. I will continue my support.
2) Main Street Revitalization: A revitalized Main Street is very important to the future of Hampstead. I have chaired the committees that produced Hampstead's revitalization plan, working with businesses and residents. I will work to see that our Main Street is a place where businesses want to locate and people want to shop.
3) Fiscal Responsibility: Over the past 20 years we have managed to keep our tax rate low while still providing the essential public services. Our Town Hall and Public Works Departments are award winning and provide great service to our citizens. I will continue to work for sound financial planning.
