A Manchester motorcyclist died Saturday morning when his bike veered off the road into a wire fence, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office said.
John William Hill, 56, was driving west on Kump Station Road, near Maryland Route 194 near Taneytown shortly after 10 a.m. in a 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle.
Police said Hill drove off the right side of the road at a turn, striking the fence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
