Owings Mills woman killed in three-car crash in Finksburg

A 32-year-old Owings Mills woman was killed in a three-car collision on Route 140 in Finksburg on Tuesday afternoon, according to Maryland State Police.

Police and emergency responders were called to the scene about 5:15 p.m., police said.

An initial investigation showed a 2001 Toyota Tundra driven by William Mark Lehr, of Westminster, was traveling west when it crossed the center line and struck a 2007 Toyota Corolla being driven east by Pandya, police said.

Pandya's vehicle then collided with a 2008 Mercedes SGL320 — also traveling east and being driven by Charles Winter, of Reisterstown — before overturning on the eastbound shoulder, police said.

Winter suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

Lehr was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The collision caused traffic to back up as the road was closed for several hours.

The state police crash team is handling the investigation. No charges had been filed as of Tuesday night.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the state police Westminster Barrack at 410-386-3000.
