A Bel Air man pleaded guilty Wednesday to child pornography possession, the Harford County State's Attorney's Office said.

He also will be required to register as a sex offender.

Aycock, of the 900 block of Winters Court, was arrested in January by Maryland State Police following a several month investigation triggered by the FBI, after an agent in Oklahoma found a person sharing child porn files over the Internet, State Police said at the time.

The FBI in Baltimore continued to monitor the activity, which led to a search warrant by FBI and Maryland State Police of Aycock's Winters Court residence on June 6, 2013, State Police said.

Computers with digital media and photographs depicting "children involved in various sexual activities" were seized from Aycock's residence and later analyzed by the FBI Digital Analysis Research Center. Aycock was indicted by a Harford County grand jury on Jan. 7 and an arrest warrant was issued charging him with child pornography.

The case was investigated by Agent Rachel Corn, of the Maryland Office of the FBI, and Lt. Matt Kail, of the Maryland State Police Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, and was prosecuted by Deputy State's Attorney Diane Tobin.
