All lanes have been reopened on the westbound Bay Bridge with the clearing of an early morning accident with injury on Wednesday, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
MdTA first reported the multi-vehicle crash at 3:53 a.m., stating that the left and center lanes were blocked. At around 7:30 a.m., MdTA reported that units were clearing the accident and delays stretched two-and-a-half miles. MdTA reported the crash cleared around 8:04 a.m.
A crash with injury on I-95 South at Exit 35 - MD 216/Scaggsville Road has the left lanes and left shoulder closed at 9:30 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation. In addition, the right shoulder on I-95 northbound at Exit 52 - MD 295/Baltimore Washington Pkwy. is closed.
There is debris reported on I-95 at Exit 64 - I-695/Parkville.
The State Highway Administration cautioned motorists to anticipate more bicycles on the roadways on Wednesday, which is National Bike to School Day.
The Maryland Transit Authority reported at 8:30 a.m. that MARC train 851, with a 8:05 a.m. Camden departure, is operating 10 to 12 minutes late due to freight train congestion. Other trains, buses and mobility vehicles were running on schedule.
