Baltimore City police are investigating two shootings that occurred overnight.

Police said Sunday morning that the first shooting happened in the 200 block of N. Smallwood St. and that the second occurred in the 2800 block of Sisson Street. The victim of the first shooting died of his injuries, police said.

Both victims were discovered at area hospitals, police said, adding that they had not been called to the crime scenes.
