Traffic: Accident on I-95 southbound at U.S. 1

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, traffic was slow on I-95 southbound at U.S. 1, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on Route 295 northbound at I-95 in Baltimore City, the inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway at Chesaco Avenue in Baltimore County, and Route 97 northbound at Route 100 in Anne Arundel County.

A vehicle fire was snarling traffic on I-95 southbound near Churchville Road in Harford County.

A disabled vehicle was blocking traffic on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway near Providence Road.

The Maryland Transit Administration warned travelers of possible 5 to 10 minute delays on the Brunswick line because of track work.

The MTA is adding cars to the Penn and Camden MARC lines on Wednesday afternoon to accommodate Thanksgiving holiday travelers. In addition, there will be an extra Penn Line train departing Washington at 2:50 p.m., making all stops to Perryville. There will be no MARC service on Thanksgiving or Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.
