Man shot in arm in W. Baltimore, taken to Shock Trauma

Police are investigating a shooting Monday night in which an adult male was wounded in the arm in West Baltimore.

The victim, whose name and age were not released, was wounded shortly after 10 p.m. Police said he was shot in the 900 block of Appleton St., just off West Lafayette Ave., in the city's Midtown-Edmonson neighborhood.

Police said the victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center; his condition was not immediately available. Police said Monday night that there has been no arrests, and no known motive.
