William Donald Schaefer will be laid to rest Wednesday, but Marylanders will have several opportunities to say their goodbyes to the former governor. The week's itinerary and traffic advisories are below.
Monday Schaefer to lie in state at Rotunda of Maryland State House
Arrival ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Doors open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Motorcade begins at Schaefer's childhood home, 620 Edgewood St., and visits other city sites, 3:09 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Arrival ceremony at 5 p.m. Doors open 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
These streets will be closed to accommodate the motorcade on Monday:
Saratoga Street between Gay and Holliday Streets, 3 p.m.–6 p.m.
Lexington Street between Guilford Avenue and Gay Street, 4 p.m.–6 p.m.
Holliday Street from Saratoga to Lexington streets, 4 p.m.–6 p.m.
Police and transportation officials have also warned of possible delays caused by the motorcade, including on the Maryland Transit Administration's Light Rail, local bus and commuter bus services between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
State Police cautioned drivers to watch for delays as the procession leaves Annapolis for Baltimore, traveling from the State House along Rowe Boulevard, west on U.S Route 50 and then along Interstates 97 North, 695 West and 95 North.

This schedule will be in effect Tuesday, April 26:
Baltimore City offices will be closed, with the exception of Police Headquarters. Residents will not be able to pay bills or obtain permits at city offices. Some bills can be paid online at http://www.baltimorecity.gov.
Parking meters must be fed
Regular pickup for trash and recycling; no bulk trash will be collected (appointments will be rescheduled); citizen drop off centers will be closed.

Traffic delays planned Wednesday to accommodate Schaefer funeral procession
Residents should expect temporary road closures Wednesday as the procession travels from Old St. Paul's Church to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, State Police said. The procession will travel north on Charles Street and enter the northbound Jones Falls Expressway near Penn Station. It will then proceed on Interstate 83 North and merge onto eastbound Padonia Road, crossing York Road and into the memorial gardens.
Police urge motorists to plan ahead for temporary road and ramp closures on I-83 and the inner and outer loops of Interstate 695 in the Towson area.
