Prince George's County police were investigating a fatal traffic accident early Thursday in Fort Washington.

Officers responded about 12:10 a.m. to Palmer Road and Livingston Road for a crash involving a pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle, police said.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene and another man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
