The Mega Millions jackpot has increased in size to $304 million for Friday's drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.
There were no winners of the $244 million jackpot in Tuesday's drawing, although there was one ticket sold in Maryland among the 26 that matched five numbers, said lottery spokeswoman Carole Everett.
That ticket, which is worth $250,000, was sold at Friendship Liquors in Howard County's West Friendship.
Everett encouraged those who play the lottery to check their tickets and to bring them in if they match several numbers. Matching four plus the gold Mega ball could yield $10,000; hitting four numbers is worth $150.
The cash option for Friday's jackpot is $197 million, according to the lottery.
