Two Columbia teens indicted in December stabbing

Two Columbia teenagers were indicted on charges of attempted murder, assault and armed robbery of a 37-year-old man stabbed multiple times last month in what Howard County police called a marijuana deal gone bad.

Victim Clifton Bandcroft Epps of the 7500 block of Rain Flower Way in King's Contrivance ran home after the 7:30 a.m. incident Dec. 6. Two days later, county police arrested Malik Raheem Davis, 18, of the 7660 block Woodpark Lane, where the stabbing took place. Davis was charged as an adult. Also charged was Damian Lamar Jones, 18, of the 7500 block Summer Blossom Lane.

A Howard County Grand jury indicted both youths this week. Police had said that Epps was trying to buy marijuana from Jones when an argument began and the two youths, aided by a third still being sought, allegedly attacked him.
