George R. Robinson, executive director of the Havre de Grace Housing Authority, pleaded guilty Monday to bribing a public official, the Maryland U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
According to a statement of facts within his plea agreement, Robinson, 61, asked for a $1,200 kickback last year from a contractor replacing kitchen faucets in housing units. The FBI recorded the conversation.
Robinson, who lives in Bel Air, faces a maximum of 15 years in prison at his April 26 sentencing.
