Randallstown teen charged with murder of homeless man

A 19-year-old Randallstown resident has been charged with murdering a homeless man and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said Friday.

Keon Rashid Cunningham, who lives on the 5400 block of Old Court Road, was arrested in the killing of Adeolu Adedgoke Otemolu, 33. The crime occurred on Nov. 5 behind Cunningham's home, where Otemolu was found with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The following day, an autopsy was performed on Otemolu by a pathologist in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, who determined that the manner of death was homicide.

Garret Glennon, a county prosecutor, said Otemolu, who was also known as Kojack, had been shot three times with a .22-caliber rifle, and that he and Cunningham were acquaintances. Cunningham was charged with first-degree murder.
