Police are investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old male late Friday in the Yale Heights neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore.

Officers called to the 4300 block of Cedar Garden Road shortly before midnight arrived to find the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, Det. Kevin Brown said. He did not name the victim.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Saturday with non-life-threatening injuries, Brown said.

The shooting appears to have stemmed from "some sort of drug dispute," Brown said.
