Traffic was stalled on northbound I-95 in Cecil County after an early morning accident involving three tractor-trailers, according to State Police.
The crash occurred around 4:20 a.m. near Chesapeake House on Interstate 95. All northbound traffic was diverted at exit 93 until about 7:15 a.m., when one lane was reopened. The left fast lane and the middle lane were both open at 9:15 a.m., after a second lane was reopened.
A truck jack-knifed in the incident, and two others are leaking diesel fuel into the roadway, according to a State Police spokesman. There were also reports of glass in the roadway.
One person suffered minor injuries, police said.
Sgt. Moore, a spokesman, said there were no estimates for when the roadway will reopen, due to the magnitude of the accident.
"It's going to be a while," he said.
