Two injured in separate city shootings Saturday

Two males — one of them 15 years old — were injured in separate shootings Saturday in Baltimore, police said.

The first incident occurred in the 1700 block of McCulloh St. at about 5:30 p.m., when a man was shot multiple times in one leg, said Det. Jeremy Silbert, a spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was expected to survive, Silbert said.

The second shooting took place shortly before 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of Ostend St., where the 15-year-old boy was shot in the arm and grazed on the chest. He was hospitalized and said to be stable, according to Silbert.

Neither victim was identified, Silbert said, and detectives have so far discovered no motive for either shooting.
