Three Baltimore men injured in shootings

Two Baltimore men were injured in a shooting early Wednesday, and a third was hurt in a similar incident late Tuesday, a police spokeswoman said.

In the first incident, on the 2300 block of N. Dukeland St. in Northwest Baltimore, a 27-year-old man was shot in both legs shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, but was able run a block to Gwynns Falls Parkway.

The second shooting took place in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood in West Baltimore just before 2:30 a.m., when two people were shot as they stood with a group of people on the 1100 block of N. Stricker St.

The police spokeswoman said that one of the victims, a 21-year-old man, was shot in the left arm and buttocks. He fled to the intersection of Gilmore and Mosher streets. The other victim, a 27-year-old man, ran to the Western District police station with a graze wound to the head.
