Double shooting leaves Baltimore man dead

A 30-year-old man was shot and killed Friday evening in an incident in northeast Baltimore that left another man wounded, police said.

The shootings occurred at about 9:30 p.m. in the Dutch Village townhouse complex on the 6900 block of McClean Boulevard, according to Det. Nicole Monroe, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore Police Department.

A man she identified as Jamison Ford was shot multiple times and collapsed at the scene, Monroe said. Ford was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 11 p.m.

Another man, whom she did not identify, was shot in the groin and was reported to be in serious condition at an area hospital.

Homicide detectives were investigating the incident, Monroe said.
