The Harford County warrant apprehension unit arrested Anthony Eugene Robinson on Wednesday morning in connection with the rape of a 24-year-old Aberdeen woman July 11.
Before being arrested, Robinson, 45, had three open District Court arrest warrants and one warrant for failure to appear in court. He had previous warrants for failing to register as a sex offender and for violating his parole.
"He had two other open district court warrants, and we've been looking for him for some time. After he became a suspect in the rape on July 11, we elevated efforts," said Harford County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Monica Worrell.
Robinson is now in custody and his bail hearing has been set for Thursday, July 16 at the Harford County District Court.
