A mo-ped driver died after a collision with a pickup truck in Columbia Sunday afternoon, Howard County police said. Shortly before 1 p.m., Mohammed Hammad Chaudhry, 24, of the 5300 block of Nightshade Court, Columbia, was traveling east on Tamar Drive when his mo-ped collided with a Chevrolet Avalanche turning left on Foreland Garth. Chaudhry was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center and pronounced dead. Police were investigating the accident Monday.
