Anne Arundel County police were investigating an armed carjacking in Linthicum in which a man was forced into the trunk of his own car and left in North Baltimore.
The 28-year-old victim called county police to the 800 block of Nursery Rd. at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday to report a carjacking that occurred three hours earlier, police said.
He told police that a man pointed a gun at him and forced him into the trunk of his 1998 gold Chevrolet Cavalier, and let him out in the Woodberry neighborhood north of Druid Hill Park after taking his wallet and cell phone, according to county police spokesman Justin Mulcahy. The vehicle was later located elsewhere in the city.
Police said the men may have planned a drug-related meeting, and the investigation was continuing.
