A 32-year-old salon owner was shot and robbed Tuesday morning while opening her business in Northeast Baltimore near the county line, according to police and The Sun's media partner WJZ-TV. Police were called to a shopping center in the 6600 block of Belair Rd. at about 11 a.m. for a report of a shooting and found the business owner suffering a graze wound to the head. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. WJZ reported that victim was Paulette Dawson, owner of Blessed Productions salon. Police said the gunman fled north on Belair Road.
