A 60-year-old Laurel man died Tuesday night after he lost control of his car and hit a tree in Howard County, police said.
Richard Earl Comstock, of the 9600 block of Hadleigh Court, went into cardiac arrest after the accident and was transported by paramedics at about 8:15 p.m. to Howard County General Hospital, where he later died, according to police. Comstock was traveling west in his Hyundai Santa Fe on Gorman Road near Horsham Drive when his car left the roadway and struck a tree on the right side.
Traffic investigators said a medical condition may have caused the collision.
