3 police officers hurt in crash of 2 autos in East Baltimore

Three police officers were injured Friday night when an unmarked police car and a civilian vehicle collided in East Baltimore. The officers were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center and Mercy Medical Center, said Nicole Monroe, a department spokeswoman. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to an area hospital, she said. The accident occurred about 8 p.m. near East Biddle and North Collington streets in the Broadway East neighborhood. Monroe said the driver and the officers' injuries were not considered life-threatening.
