Pa. man wounded with pellet gun outside downtown hotel

Baltimore Sun

A 39-year-old Pennsylvania man was shot with a pellet gun while walking outside a downtown Baltimore hotel Saturday night, city police confirmed. The man was at the corner of South and East Lombard streets about 10:10 p.m. when he heard a single shot from a pellet gun and was struck in the right forearm, said Nicole Monroe, a police spokeswoman. The man told police he saw a gold Toyota Sequoia truck leave the area, then went back to his hotel and was taken to University of Maryland Medical Center, Monroe said. Central District detectives were investigating, and police did not have any suspects.
