Police were investigating a fatal shooting Friday in Charles Village and a stabbing in Northwest Baltimore. Police called to the 2600 block of N. Calvert St. about 4:10 p.m. for a report of a shooting found a man in his 20s. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. At 4:40 p.m., a 17-year-old male was found, stabbed in the chest, in the 4400 block of Maine Ave. in the Central Forest Park neighborhood. Police were seeking four males who were seen running from the scene. The victim was in serious but stable condition.
