Baltimore Sun

SALISBURY - A Salisbury woman has been sentenced to four years in prison in the drowning death of her infant daughter last year. Twenty-nine-year-old Debra Sanches pleaded guilty this month to involuntary manslaughter. She agreed to give up custody of three children. Authorities say on Sept. 16, Sanches left her 8-month-old daughter in a bathtub while she watched TV. She found the infant unresponsive.
