Man shot, killed pointing gun at Frederick policemen

Frederick police say two officers shot and killed a man who pointed a sawed-off semiautomatic rifle at them after a domestic dispute. The man has been identified as 27-year-old Patrick Fischer II of Frederick. He died at a hospital after the shooting early Sunday. Police say officers received reports of a domestic dispute and were told of shots being fired at passing vehicles when they found Fischer. - Associated Press
