Baltimore Sun

A head-on two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Gambrills sent three people to area hospitals, Anne Arundel County Fire Department officials said. The crash occurred about 2:30 p.m. when an Isuzu Rodeo and a Honda collided on Generals Highway near Honeysuckle Lane, Battalion Chief Steve Thompson said. The driver of the Rodeo, a 57-year-old man, and the driver of the Spectra, a 55-year-old woman, were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Thompson said. A passenger in the Rodeo, a 50-year-old woman, was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, he said. Anne Arundel County Police Lt. James Fredericks said that Generals Highway was closed briefly.
