Baltimore Sun

A 38-year-old man was shot to death Sunday afternoon in West Baltimore, his body discovered in the snow in a rear alley, according to a Police Department spokesman. Police were called about 1:10 p.m. for shots fired in the 1200 block of Bentalou St. A person directed police to the rear of the block, where officers found the victim unresponsive, spokesman Donny Moses said. The man, whom police have not yet identified, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Moses. Police have no suspects and no motives. The killing is the 17th homicide this year, eight fewer than this time a year ago.
