Sun expected to come out for the holiday weekend

After a day of mild temperatures and rain on Friday and some early rain Saturday, the holiday weekend is shaping up to be sunny – but breezy.

The National Weather Service forecasts a high near 56 Saturday. Winds could gust up to 37 miles per hour, with a small chance of rain.

The low Saturday night is expected to be around 36.

Sunday, the temperature is forecast to reach 62, with winds gusts returning and reaching as high as 20 miles per hour.

With the start of the workweek, warmer temperatures are expected, with the high Monday expected to reach 70, before dipping back into the 50s and 60s. Rain is also possible during the week.
