A four-car crash on the Beltway near the Route 1 exit caused lane closures on the Inner Loop just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Two lanes and one shoulder are closed, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Also Tuesday, an empty school bus crashed with an ambulance in Baltimore County. The wreck, at Lord Baltimore Drive and Liberty Road, resulted in no serious injuries, Baltimore County officials wrote on Twitter.
On mass transit, a stopped freight train on the tracks in Riverdale is causing delays on the MARC Camden Line, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. Trains are operating on a single track between Greenbelt and Riverdale, causing southbound trains to be delayed by 20 to 25 minutes.
Work continues on the months-long Interstate 95 project in Baltimore City. The roadwork, which is to replace worn decking and joints on the 4.4-mile stretch of highway and the ramps, will affect traffic between Caton Avenue and the Fort McHenry Tunnel.
