Incidents cleared from MD 713 South, MD 100 East in Hanover

All lanes are open on two local thoroughfares that had been experienced closures on Thursday morning due to rush-hour incidents, state transportation officials said.

DOT also reported a collision on Interstate 97 North in Millersville at Benfield Boulevard at 8:49 a.m. No road closure information was given.

The State Highway Administration said that 8:04 a.m. that Snow Emergency Plans are in effect for 13 state counties, including Carroll County, which declared a snow emergency at 8 a.m.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation said at 6:13 a.m. that a power outage is affecting traffic signals along Fayette and Aisquith streets. DOT encouraged motorists to avoid the area if possible. DOT added that the Charm City Circulator's Harbor Connector will run with modified operations on Thursday.

The Maryland Transportation Authority has issued fog warnings for the Bay Bridge. MdTA said that crews are treating the bridge roadway for snow and encouraged motorists to use low beams and travel at slow speeds.

The Baltimore City Office of Emergency Management reported a fire on the 200 block of Water Street at 8:08 a.m. and said that motorists should expect delays between Calvert Street and South Street.

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works said that street sweeping has been canceled for Thursday and added that no parking restrictions are in effect for street sweeping. DPW added that trash and recycle routes are being run on Thursday but difficult road conditions may prevent normal pickup.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor MARC train delays at 9:14 a.m and added that due to the federal government opening two hours late Train 880 will depart Brunswick Station at 8:30 a.m., 45 minutes later than usual.
