Several traffic incidents, including emergency roadwork in Anne Arundel County that began Thursday evening, prompted road closures for Friday morning's rush hour, according to state transportation officials.
All westbound lanes are closed on MD 198 between Old Portland Avenue and Center Avenue due to emergency roadwork that began at 8:52 p.m. Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation. The eastbound left traffic lane is bi-directional, DOT said.
A collision on the Interstate 95 North in Baltimore City prior to the Baltimore Washington Parkway exit has closed the northbound right shoulder at 8:23 a.m., DOT said.
A two-vehicle collision with injury on the inner loop of I-695 in Catonsville prior to the MD 144 exit has closed the inner loop right traffic lane and inner loop right shoulder at 8:01 a.m., DOT said.
Emergency roadwork on MD 175 west at Fort Meade at Reece Road has closed the westbound right traffic lane and westbound right shoulder at 5:35 a.m., DOT said.
In Baltimore City, a three-vehicle collision on I-895 South past the Lombard Street exit has closed the southbound right shoulder at 7:20 a.m., DOT said.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said the Curtis Creek Drawbridge is scheduled to open at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 8:31 a.m. that trains, buses and mobility vehicles were running on schedule.
