A disabled vehicle on the Jones Falls Expressway South in Baltimore City at the Falls Road exit has closed the southbound right traffic lane and southbound right shoulder at 8:28 a.m. on Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
A three-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 South in Rossville past the Baltimore Beltway has closed the southbound right shoulder at 8:27 a.m., DOT said.
DOT added that emergency roadwork on U.S. 40 East in Howard County at North Ridge Road that began on Thursday morning has continued into Friday morning.
The roadwork has closed the eastbound left traffic lane and eastbound left shoulder, DOT said.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said that Wind Restrictions I are in effect for the Bay Bridge. Sustained winds or wind gusts of up to 49 mph are possible, MTA said. Under such restrictions, house trailers, empty box trailers or any vehicle that law-enforcement personnel believe would not cross the bridge safely will not be allowed to do so, MTA said. Officials may assist vehicles required to make U-turns, MTA said.
The Baltimore City Department of Public Works said that street sweeping has been canceled for Friday and street sweeping parking restrictions will not be enforced.
The Maryland Transit Administration has reported at 8:41 a.m. that trains, buses and mobility vehicles were running on schedule.
